First Creek Canyon contains the second V17 in Red Rock, Shaolin, alongside numerous other hard classics like The Nest V15, Trieste V14 and Half Magic V11. While there are many other great moderates here, it is often less traveled except for elite climbers due to the distance required to park and the subsequent hour plus long hike. While you might not run into too many climbers in the main wash, it is a very popular destination for hikers, so be prepared.

A designated hiking trail west out of the lot takes you towards the climbs within and along the hillside and neighboring gullies of First Creek Canyon.
