Willow Springs provides the largest density of climbs outside of the Calico Basin area, with most approaches taking 30 minutes or less and 7 unique areas: Dave's Boulders, Lost Creek, Mystery Canyon, Rocky Gap Wash, SMYC Trail and Willow Springs Main.
 
The first parking lot approached on your left is for the Lost Creek trail and is used to access remote boulders on the SMYC trail and above hillside, the Lost Creek canyon boulders, and the Stooge boulders across the street (categorized under White Rock Springs South).

Willow Springs provides the largest density of climbs outside of the Calico Basin area, with most approaches taking 30 minutes or less and 7 unique areas: Dave's Boulders, Lost Creek, Mystery Canyon, Rocky Gap Wash, SMYC Trail and Willow Springs Main. The first parking lot approached on your left is for the Lost Creek trail and is used to access remote boulders on the SMYC trail and above hillside, the Lost Creek canyon boulders, and the Stooge boulders across the street (categorized under White Rock Springs South). The second and main parking lot provides access to the main boulders to the east and Mystery Canyon to the west. Farther down from the main area on Rocky Gap Rd provides access to the Rocky Gap Wash with good car ground clearance required. Rocky Gap Wash climbs can be accessed from the main lot with more hiking. Willow Springs is located just over halfway through the Red Rock Canyon 13-mile loop, thus entry fee and reservation are required. From the intersection of Charleston Blvd and the 215, drive 5.4 miles west onto SR159. Turn right into the entry of the loop and be prepared to show evidence of reservation. After payment, drive along the one-way loop road for 7.1 miles and turn right toward Willow Springs. SMYC TRAIL, LOST CREEK Park at the Lost Creek parking immediately on your left. SMYC Trail and Lost Creek are on the west. MAIN AND MYSTERY CANYON Park by the main area after the Lost Creek parking on your right. Main is to the east and Mystery Canyon across the street to your west. ROCKY GAP WASH AND DAVE'S BOULDERS Continue past the main parking for about half a mile on a rocky road requiring ground clearance. Park on the left off the road at a bend where the wash opening is visible. Without ground clearance you could opt to hike the 0.5 miles from the main parking lot.
