This is 1.6 miles south of the Christmas Valley boulders parking. If the water is high, or you are not game for the river crossing, continue on SUT another 0.4 miles to the Mountain Beavers (Christmas Valley Trail) parking area. Head back north skirting above the meadow for about five minutes. You should arrive near the Self Portrait, or One Eye Willie boulder.
APPROACH: From the riverside parking, hike a little upstream and hop the rocks across the river. Once across the river follow it upstream for a minute and a trail will open on your left. This leads away from the river for about 100 yards and takes you to the Angry Beavers boulder.
ALTERNATE: If the river is too high, go another 0.4 miles and park as you would for the Mountain Beavers and hike back north, skirting just above the meadow. This should get you near the One Eye Willie boulder. If is really wet out this way, you will get soaked you as you cross endless little streams.
Not sure I climbed it completely correctly. Felt soft but the correct ballpark. Worth climbing.
