For Erratica East: From the turnoff to Kirkwood take Hwy 88 west for 3.6 and turn right onto a dirt road. Continue for 100 yds and park when you see the obvious Father’s Day boulder to your left about 50 yds from the car. It is a gold, triangle shaped boulder sitting on the open on a slab. Walk to Father’s Day. From there continue in the same direction (SW) for another 50 yds to the Boob Wall, which is just over a small dome and faces SW. From the Boob Wall don’t drop into the gully below, continue again walking SW across benches for 10-12 minutes until you arrive at The Black Boulder. The trail should be marked from the Boob Wall. From The Black Boulder look west/southwest and you will see a small dome 300 yds away with very small erratics perched on it. Head down a faint road that leads NW from The Black Boulder then hike to the top of the dome. Again, cairns mark the way. From the top of the dome don’t go toward the creek, instead walk 200 yds NW to another small dome and you will be at the Jelly Bean and Gold as the Sky boulders. The Shade Grove boulder sits just below here. For Erratica Central: From the turnoff to Kirkwood take Hwy 88 west for 3.6 and turn right onto a dirt road. Continue for 0.1 miles and park when you see a faint dirt road on your left blocked by logs. Walk down this road for 5 minutes until the road ends. Find a trail that heads SW and follow it for 100 yds to Boulder #1. The Yeti lies 100 yds further SW. From the Yeti continue SW on a trail for 200 yds to a meadow area. Skirt the right side of the meadow for 8-10 minutes until you find Fujiyama and surrounding boulders. For The Geeks walk SW for 100 yds from the Yeti to this tight group of boulders.
