The eastern outskirts of Lake Tahoe has several areas sitting in the Carson Valley. The main theme of all the spots here is they are climbable in winter. The Jobs Peak Boulder sits all by itself on the flank of a huge mountain. It has sweeping views of the valley below and the rock quality is good. There are several more sub areas all situated in and around the Carson Valley.
