Cascade Falls is a small, but quality area located in a beautiful setting. Similar to the Voodoo Stones, this spot is hard to beat for scenery and overall hang. The bouldering is mainly on small cliffbands, which are the perfect height and have good landings. There is also a small amount of boulders in a talus field, which host some harder lines. This is a great place to come for a day of bouldering on perfect granite and to just relax and take it all in.

DRIVING: Drive to the south side of Emerald Bay to Inspiration Point. Look across the street and you will see Bayview Campground. Drive to the top of the campground and park at the Bayview Trailhead. APPROACH: Take the left fork towards Cascade Falls on the Bayview Trail for 15 minutes to the top of the falls. Just before you get to the falls look upstream a little ways and to the left. You will see an obvious long mini cliff sitting on some slabs. This is the Cascade Wall and it's your destination. Look left of the Cascade Wall at about the same elevation and you will see a bench covered in trees below a tall peak. This bench holds the rest of the boulders and is called The Pond Circuit. From the top of the falls, walk past the wooden sign post upstream for 100 yds until the trail ends. Cut left from here and cross two creeks. After crossing the second creek, walk slabby benches for 5 minutes to the Cascade Wall. To approach The Pond Circuit, walk 100 yds up and left from the Cascade Wall then cut left through a densely vegetated, but short section to the bench at the base of the mountain. Once there you will see a pond; the boulders are on the west end and just above the pond, on the terraced walls above and scattered in the talus.
