Roundhill hosts a few areas of marginal quality. The Roundhill Clump is nearly roadside and sits near the popular Nevada Beach. The Bridge Creek boulders sit in the forest behind the Mountain Metro Church. These spots are convenient for a quick hit, a few OK problems will occupy you for a while. But for the most part, these zones are a bit of an afterthought. The landings are not the greatest on many of the problems here, but they do pad up well and with the short approaches it’s not difficult to get all the pads you want out to the boulders.

For The Roundhill Clump: Driving: From the California/Nevada Stateline border in South Lake Tahoe drive north on Hwy 50 for 1.9 miles and turn left on Elks Point Drive at the stoplight in Roundhill. Continue down Elks Point Drive for 0.3 miles and park on the left where the bike path crosses the street. Approach: Look north from the parking area and you can just catch a glimpse of this boulder pile about 200 yds away. Walk across the crosswalk and head north on the paved path for 30 yds and turn right on an old dirt road. Walk down the dirt road for 75 yds then veer left as it cuts uphill. Walk 30 more yds and take the right fork up to the hole in the fence. Walk straight back 50 yds to the obvious boulder cluster. For Bridge Creek: Driving: From the California/Nevada Stateline border in South Lake Tahoe drive north on Hwy 50 for 1.1 miles and right onto Lake Village Drive. Veer right and follow Lake Village Drive for 0.4 miles until the road ends at the Mountain Metro Church. Approach: Some of the boulders are behind the church and others are behind and a bit south. There are a few different options depending on where you are headed first.
