The Tahoe Mountain Road areas are all along Tahoe Mountain Road, just off of Lake Tahoe Blvd. They include the Tahoe Mountain Road Boulders, Clear View Boulders, The Archer Boulders, and the Wonderland. Each of these areas are described in beta boxes at the start of each section. This area holds some of Lake Tahoe’s most difficult lines.

From the “Y” drive west on Lake Tahoe Blvd for 2.3 miles and turn right on Tahoe Mountain Road. Park immediately on the right near the green gate just after you turn. If you pull straight in you can get several cars parked here without blocking the fire road.
The main cluster of boulders is just across the road, 150 yds to the west. The Kitty Litter boulder is 50 yds north, behind Dano’s Boulder. The Shanty Boulder is another 150 yds NE of Kitty Litter perched right above Tahoe Mountain Road, 300 yds from the parking by the gate.
