A striking gear-protected overhung arete! Place small cams in the thin seam and climb an excellent compression sequence up to where the angle lessens. Continue in the crack angling right and then back left to the arete (5.10), making sure to back-clean any gear you place to mitigate rope drag and prevent a ledge fall for the crux. Once at the handjam rest, load up the horizontal with bomber gear, and fre directly up the arete with big powerful moves and a stimulating mantle.
