Done more than 60 years ago, this three pitch up an obvious diagonal slash was a huge step forward at a time when almost everything was done on aid. Pitch 1: (5.7) Traverse left across a slab, and wander up a discontinuous crack system, setting a belay along the way. Pitch 2: (5.8) Trend left up a diagonal crack on so-so rock, stopping to belay when the mood strikes you. Pitch 3: (5.7) Traverse far left up a ramp, finishing with an exciting hand traverse along a huge flake.
