Established in 1996, this problem is considered to be the first of it's grade in Southern California. Some boulder problems seem to get easier in time as new beta is found and standards rise. Not the case here; The Blank Generation is still hard AF! Start low matched on the glue-reinforced flake. Crank up right to the good crimp, and dyno up and left to a jug just below the lip. A snappy mantle follows. It would be nice to see a true sit start added to this classic to make it Southern California's hardest again. Calling for a new "blank", generation of boulderers to step up.
Possibly the first V10 I ever laid my eyes on almost a decade ago. Back then it seemed impossible, and in later years it was just really hard for my style of climbing. Turns out it is my style, because the whole thing goes static!
