Sit start on a white flake on the right arête, bump to the plate and trend right along the sloping lip to the arête and finish. In mid 2022 a right hand gaston broke off. The climb still goes but is maybe a grade harder.

🪄✨The spell has been broken. End of last spring I felt very close to climbing this beautiful boulder FA’d by Paul Barraza. Then I pulled really hard on the crux gaston key top out foothold and it ripped off. Several sessions later with support from the homies @shawnaja @wesleytrents @Jwoo @ericb I understood how to climb it. Special special line, worth the journey in to cold stream canyon.

Put a lot of time into this one. Thought it would go down a lot quicker but the gaston pinch hold went missing at some point. Beautiful climb, awesome movement, but happy to finally put this one behind me.

First temps of the season! Full value boulder that is tricky to put together. Probably v9 in Yosemite (FA, Raza) but seems like a 10 in Tahoe.
