The orignal route to the summit is a dangerous undertaking, with poor rock, shaky gear, and a lone bolt that's far too old to be trusted. Approach by soloing along the uphill ridge to a notch. Fiddle with gear, and make an unnerving crux traverse to right onto a simple slab, before clipping an old bolt protecting a finishing bulge.
