You can get to this hillside a couple of ways. The quickest, and easiest, is to follow the directions for West Approach Hill. After switchbacking up the overgrown road, follow a decent game trail up the hill to a large cave, then scramble over the top of it to reach The Grove. Another access point is from above the dam. Hike up this, and head up and over the summit (look for the geocache for bonus points). This approach has thicker brush than coming from below.
