Pull on to this lowball traverse using the lowest and leftest sloping edge. Move right on slopers for 12 feet to finish above the patina edge. Although there is a detached rock below you, avoid the temptation to use it.
Day of Classics, Climb 8/8: What a way to finish the day! I had heard the infamy of this climb, but @campuscutie gave me the spray and the holds were surprisingly good, positionally. Plus, condies were amazing. 60 deg Kilter was surprisingly applicable.
In my flash go, I doubted the cross beta and bumped right to the good hold but couldn’t work out the feet. To cross, simply have faith. The cruxes were actually the gimmicks: avoiding the tree and avoiding the later dab below. To solve the tree, I had to core up on the right foot. To solve the dab, I had to properly adjust my right foot smear to gain the right jug without losing the left heel in an uncontrolled manner.
