Some boulders and cliffbands are used by the park to demonstrate primitive shelters, not just for climbing, therefore reduced chalk use is highly recommended. Do not slap chalk onto the rock. Being good stewards and maintaining a healthy relationship with other users and with the park rangers should be a high priority for any visiting climber.
Pad stack and start up high, matched on the right side of the sculpted crimp rail. Move left and gain the shelf above. Top out if dry.
